Carolyn Sue Clendenin | Floral Hills Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home & Mausoleum

Carolyn Sue Clendenin, aged 75, of Ft. Mitchell, KY, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. Born on December 29, 1949, in Covington, KY, to the late Charles and Audrey (nee Ruth) Chappie, Carolyn was known for her vibrant personality and love for her family.

Carolyn found joy in various activities such as playing softball, cheering for the UK Wildcats, participating in bingo games, and attending bible studies. Above all, her greatest happiness was found in spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren.

Carolyn is forever cherished by her loving children, Andrew (Kyra) Chappie and Amy (Draymon) Clendenin; her grandchildren: Seth Chappie, Audrey Clendenin, and Charlotte Clendenin; great-grandchild: Amira Chappie; siblings: Patti (Bill) Mardis, Charlene (Larry) Ramsey, Charles (Peggy) Chappie, and Jeff Chappie; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other beloved family members and friends.

A visitation is scheduled for Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home, located at 3556 Old Taylor Mill Rd., Taylor Mill, KY, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM. The family is being assisted by Floral Hills Funeral Home during this challenging time.
