Nicholas "Tony" Antonio Humphery | Serenity Funeral Care

Nicholas "Tony" Antonio Humphery, 59, of Owensboro, formerly of Covington, peacefully passed away on January 3, 2025. Born on May 8, 1965, to the late Charles and Gladys Humphery, Tony found solace and happiness in life's simple pleasures, particularly through his love of hunting, fishing, and companionship with his cherished dogs.

Known for his warm and affable nature, Tony's ease of spirit endeared him to all who crossed his path. He treasured moments of tranquility in nature, finding peace in the quiet of the woods or the serenity of a fishing trip, where he felt a deep connection with the natural world.

Predeceased by his brother Kevin Humphery, Tony is survived by his brother Mike Humphery; sisters Priscilla (Lantie) Eubank, Misty (Charles) Allen, and Danita (Clyde) Harrington; nephews Michael Johnson and Joey Yazell; numerous great nieces and nephews; extended family; and a wide circle of friends, all of whom will miss his kind heart and contagious laughter.

Tony's love for family, his profound connection to nature, and his steadfast loyalty to loved ones will be cherished by those fortunate enough to have known him. A private family service will be held in his honor. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in his memory to a charity of choice or animal rescue organizations, causes that held a special place in Tony's heart.

May Tony find eternal peace, surrounded by the beauty that brought him immense joy, and reunited with those he loved who went before him.
