Florence – JoAnne Rita Armstrong, 87, entered into rest on Monday, February 3, 2025. Born to the late Thomas and Marcella Roberts in Dayton, JoAnne is survived by her children Cheryl Ellis, Christy Crittenden, Shelley (Brian) Felthouse, Susan (Scott) Silbernagel, Todd (John Hernandez) Armstrong, stepson Terry Armstrong, and brother Rick (Gail) Roberts. JoAnne is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Armstrong; son, Jeff Armstrong; sister, Sandy Hermes; daughters-in-law Lori and Debby Armstrong; and leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Stith Funeral Home, 7500 US Hwy 42, Florence. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Saint Paul Church, 7301 Dixie Hwy, Florence.
