Clara Mae Taylor, aged 95, of Taylor Mill, peacefully passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. Born on July 6, 1929, in Covington, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Gertrude Toole Cook.

Clara had a fulfilling career at AT&T before retiring. She found joy in traveling and tending to her flower garden. Clara was a former member of Women of the Moose, Lodge 1486, and the Independence Community Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Chester Taylor, and sisters Norma Ficke and Reva Wischer. Clara is survived by her sister Nola Nunnally, nieces Cheryl Bucki, Debbie Caldwell, Elana Baber, Kathy Thomas, nephew Jim Nunnally, and lifelong friends along with caring neighbors.

Due to her deep affection for dogs, memorial donations can be made to the Kenton County SPCA or St. Elizabeth Hospice. Honoring Clara's wishes for simplicity, no services will be conducted.

To offer tributes in memory of Clara Mae Taylor, memorial trees or flowers can be arranged through the flower store.
