Karen Jo Baugh, born October 30, 1960, in Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on January 21, 2025, at UC Medical Center in Cincinnati. She was known for her career in education, journalism, and as a talented singer. She touched many lives with her compassion and faith, leaving behind a legacy of love and knowledge.

Baugh dedicated herself to educating young minds at Ludlow Elementary School and as an Adjunct Professor at Xavier University. She was an active member of the Kenton County Retired Teachers Association and the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association, showcasing her commitment to education and professional solidarity.

Apart from her professional achievements, Baugh was a devout member of the First Baptist Church of Ludlow, where she shared her faith through music and service. Her singing talents were recognized as she performed with the Ball Family as their lead vocalist, spreading the message of love and faith through song.

Preceded in death by her parents, Howard W. “Mike” and Betty Jo Ette (Ellis) Baugh, she is survived by her brother, Michael Baugh, and many other beloved family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Ludlow. Interment will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Ludlow.

Karen Jo Baugh will be forever remembered for her unwavering faith, kind spirit, and dedication to education. Memorial trees or flowers can be ordered in her memory at the flower store.
