Harold Lee Dringenburg, 92, Passes Away in Kentucky

Harold Lee Dringenburg, aged 92, peacefully passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025. He was born in Burlington, Kentucky, to his late parents Willie and Alma Dringenburg. Harold is survived by his wife of 64 years, Rosetta Dringenburg, daughters Pam Sayers (Todd) and Patty Schwabe (Mike), grandchildren Lauren Sayers, Ryan Schwabe, and Amber Schwabe, sister-in-law Carol Aylor, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Preceding Harold in death were his brother, Lloyd Dringenburg, sister-in-law Ruth Dringenburg, brother-in-law Richard Aylor, and nephews Scott and Andy Aylor. Harold was a devoted University of Kentucky Wildcats and Cincinnati Reds fan, known for his friendly demeanor. A farmer by upbringing, he retired from the US Postal Service after 32 years and continued working at Kmart post-retirement. An active member of Hopeful Lutheran Church, Harold cherished his time with family.

A visitation is scheduled at Stith Funeral Home in Florence, Kentucky on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Another visitation will be held at Hopeful Lutheran Church on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Hopeful Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Hopeful Lutheran Church. Condolences and memories can be shared on the website www.stithfuneralhome.com.
