Syreta Kay Duvall, a cherished soul who exuded a sweet spirit, peacefully passed away on December 15, 2024, in Walton, Kentucky, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 11, 1953, in Louisville, Kentucky, Syreta's life was a testament to kindness, love, and the enduring connections that bind us all.

Known for her love of cooking, family, and grandchildren, Syreta's warmth extended beyond meals as she nurtured both bodies and souls. Her joy in spending time with her grandchildren created precious memories and moments of wisdom shared with love.

A lover of Elvis and Gatlinburg adventures, Syreta's enthusiastic approach to life inspired those around her. Her infectious laughter and gentle demeanor endeared her to all who knew her, leaving a lasting impact on hearts. As a devoted mother and grandmother, her love knew no bounds.

Survived by her beloved husband, Greg Duvall; daughter Michelle (Andrew) Jones; and grandchildren Victor Jones and Lyndon Jones, Syreta is also remembered by her sister Debbie Baker, brother Frank (Julie) Baker, sister-in-law Gail Baker, and many other family members and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Clara Baker (nee Fuqua) and brother Donald Baker, their memories remain an integral part of her legacy cherished by those she leaves behind.

Visitation for Syreta will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northern Kentucky, on December 27, 2024, followed by a funeral service. She will be laid to rest at Richwood Presbyterian Cemetery.

Syreta's kindness, love, and laughter will be dearly missed, but the memories she gifted us will forever be held close in our hearts. Her spirit and legacy of love will continue to shine brightly among those whose lives she touched.
