Catherine Sue Smith, a beloved soul, peacefully passed away on November 15, 2024, in Florence, Kentucky, surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 12, 1957, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she radiated joy and warmth throughout her life's journey.

Sue's vibrant spirit thrived on her profound love for family. She is survived by her cherished daughters Rhonda Russell, Karen Lantzer, and Shirley Haley. Sue embraced her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, creating treasured memories that will carry her legacy forward.

Supported by her sister Linda Popp and brother Mike Hayes, Sue formed strong family bonds that endured over time. She touched many lives and will be deeply missed by a host of family members and friends.

Preceding her in death were her mother, Helen Hayes, father, Walter Hayes, and brothers Jackie and Jerry Hayes. Their spirits will welcome her with love.

Sue found happiness in simple joys, delighting in BINGO games and her beloved Hallmark Christmas movies. Her kind heart and cheerful spirit resonated in every interaction, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her.

A celebration of Sue's life will take place with visitation on November 19, 2024, at Newcomer Funeral Home in Erlanger, Kentucky, followed by a graveside service at Reading Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio. Family and friends will gather to honor her life filled with love and cherished memories.

As we remember Sue's beautiful life, may we hold onto her gentle smile, unwavering love for family, and the laughter she shared so freely. Sue's legacy will remain a beacon of light in the hearts she leaves behind.
