Ricky Alan Marcum, aged 66, of Lebanon, TN, passed away on December 16, 2024. Born in Newport, KY, to Sandra Mae Murray Marcum and John Manthan Marcum, Ricky served in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne before working in construction. He had a lifelong passion for Cincinnati sports, particularly admiring Pete Rose, and enjoyed fishing, golf, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Ricky is survived by his wife of 42 years, Vestella Monroe Marcum; daughter Kimberly Marcum; grandchildren Dakota Alexis Jenkins, Cameron Douglas, Elizabeth Washburn, and Mila Hurt; mother Sandra Richard; siblings John Marcum, David Marcum, Koni Lambert, and Raymond Richard. He is preceded in death by his son, Ricky “Richie” Marcum II, father Raymond Richard, brother Kenny Marcum, sisters Karen Hutchcraft and Kim Sturgeon, and grandmother Bessie Murray.

Pallbearers will include Jr Marcum, David Marcum, Raymond "Lil Buck" Richard, Johnny Marcum, Tommy Norman, and Timmy Marcum.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Dobbling, Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home in Newport, KY, with services following at 10:00 am.
