Erlanger, Kentucky - Gary W. Grout, who embodied the virtues of love, kindness, and dedication, peacefully passed away on October 15, 2024, in Florence, Kentucky. Born on December 14, 1948, in Covington, Kentucky, Gary led a life filled with family, friendships, and cherished hobbies.

Gary will be forever cherished as a devoted husband, proud father, and grandfather, and a loyal friend to many. Known for his immense heart and willingness to help others, he left an enduring impact on all lucky enough to know him.

With a deep love for classic cars, Gary found joy in attending car shows and excelled in car painting. These passions not only brought him happiness but also united loved ones who shared his interests.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Grout (nee Goebel); children, Greg Christian, Michael (Kayla) Grout, Sr., and Tracy Jones; grandchildren, Abree Lopez, Anneliese LaVon, Kyleigh Grout, Michael Grout, Jr., Braylon Grout, Curtis Morrison, Taylor Schnieders, Shannon Grout, and Danielle Grout; great-grandchildren, Tobias Morrison, and Baby Schneiders; brothers, John Grout, Fred Grout, and Michael Grout. Alongside his immediate family, Gary leaves behind numerous other relatives and friends to carry on his memory.

Gary was predeceased by his parents, Melvin Grout, Sr. and Virginia Grout (nee Mullkin); children, Angela Grout, Gary Grout, Jr., Michelle Morrison; and siblings, Harry Grout, Frank Grout, Melvin Grout, Jr., Laura Droganes, and Ronald Grout.

As loved ones reflect on his life, they find comfort in the memories and love he shared. Gary W. Grout's legacy is one of dedication, kindness, and the enduring strength of family bonds. His spirit will continue to inspire those who knew him, encouraging all to embrace life with an open and generous heart.
