Western Kentucky Lady Toppers Women’s Softball announced on Apr. 23 that the Friday game against Kennesaw State has been rescheduled due to inclement weather. The first pitch will now take place at 5 p.m. Central Time.

The adjustment was made in response to weather concerns, according to the announcement from the team.

Rescheduling games because of weather is a common practice in collegiate athletics, as teams work to ensure player safety and maintain competitive schedules.

Fans planning to attend are encouraged to note the new start time for Friday’s matchup.
