Murray State University sophomore Trey Wall was named Missouri Valley Conference Golfer of the Week, according to an April 16 announcement from the league office.

This recognition highlights Wall’s recent performance at the Bluegrass Collegiate Invitational, where he finished fifth overall. The tournament took place at the University Course of Kentucky in Lexington. Over three rounds, Wall recorded scores of one-under par, five-over par, and one-over par.

A standout moment for Wall came during the third round when he made an eagle on the par four ninth hole. In his opening round, he tallied seven birdies.

Wall has now achieved five top-10 finishes this season across ten events. This is also the fifth time a Murray State player has earned golfer of the week honors this season.

The university encourages fans to follow updates about Murray State Athletics and men’s golf through their official social media channels.
