Submission Rules

  • The contest is open to all teens (grades 6-12) living in the Monroe County, NY. 
  • No entry fee is required.
  • Entries, no more than two per participant, must be received by August 31st.
  • Photos must be taken by the teen participant, and no older than one year.
  • Photographs, can be black & white or color, print or digital, and must be signed and titled.
  • All accepted photos will be up for voting by all participants on the pullunit website. Photos with most ‘likes’ will be entered in the Library Patron Choice Award and will be displayed on the MCLS teen web page. Additionally, prizes (gift cards) will be awarded to the top two photographs: 1st   place: $50, 2nd place : $25.
  • Rochester Public Library assume no responsibility for any copyright issues. It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure their photos is signed and/or has reserved copyrights.
