Florence - Victor "Vic" Allen Windhorst, 85, of Florence, KY, passed away on January 23, 2025. Victor, born in Dayton, OH, was known as the longtime owner of the former Tinder Box Stores, including one at Florence Mall. Apart from his business endeavors, he also enjoyed reading, playing golf, and watching sports.

Victor is survived by his wife of 64 years, Karen Windhorst, daughter Carmen Story, son Mark Windhorst, grandson Thomas Story, sister Betty Homer, and sister-in-law Brenda Collins (Tom).

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Stith Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 11 AM and the service at 12 PM. Burial will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens in Centerville, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Parkinson's Foundation.
