Michael Delbert Haley | Floral Hills Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home & Mausoleum

Michael Delbert Haley, 78, of Latonia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at Cold Spring Nursing and Rehab. Born on April 14, 1946, in Cincinnati, to the late Gordon Stanley and Mabel Miller Haley, he was wed in Lenoxburg, Kentucky, on March 21, 1970, to Laverne Boyer Haley, who survives him. Mike was a dedicated employee of the former CG&E, working as a Mechanic. He was a member of Victory Baptist Temple Church and served in the Newport Auxiliary Police. A passionate genealogist and numismatist, Mike enjoyed collecting coins and unraveling family history. He was also a loyal supporter of the Reds and University of Kentucky sports teams.

Survived by his sons Jason Michael Haley (Rachel), Aaron Scott Haley, sister, Roberta Wood, grandson Mathieson Michael Haley, step-grandchildren Kylie and Kavanaugh, Mike touched the lives of many with his service and dedication. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 11 AM at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel B, officiated by Pastor Vincent Powell. Visitation will be on Friday, January 24, 2025, from 5-7 PM at the funeral home (Chapel B), with burial at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.

Remembered for his community service, commitment to family, and love for history and sports, Michael will be deeply missed, his legacy living on through the memories shared with all who knew him.
