Lt. Col. Donald William Thomas, aged 91, and a retired Army Green Beret, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at the VA Medical Center in Cincinnati. He was a University of Kentucky graduate, served in the Army Special Forces, and had a career as an accountant and business owner. Active in various organizations including Erlanger Baptist Church and The British Car Club of Greater Cincinnati, he was known for his community service. Lt. Col. Thomas was preceded in death by his wife Loraine, parents, brother, and sister. Survived by his daughters, son, and grandchildren, visitation will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024, at Erlanger Baptist Church followed by a memorial service. Memorials can be made to Honor Flight Tri State or Tunnels 2 Towers Foundation. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home is assisting the family.
