Joseph Anthony Lusher Sr. | Dobbling, Muehlenkamp-Erschell - Newport

Joseph "Bubba" Anthony Lusher Sr., aged 79, passed away on November 18, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Fort Thomas in California. Born on March 3, 1945, in Dayton, KY, Joe served in the United States Air Force before beginning a career as an Insurance Agent at Western and Southern, and later as the head custodian for Campbell County Schools.

Joe enjoyed fishing, building model cars, playing poker, woodworking, and restoring old cars in his spare time. He was an active member of the American Legion, reflecting his commitment to service and community. Joe was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Lusher Sr., mother, Josephine Lusher, and son, Joseph "Joey" A. Lusher Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joyce Lusher, daughter Kim Grigsby, brother Alfred Lusher II, sister Mary Jo Reis, granddaughters Caitlyn Novak and Tanya Boatright, great-grandsons Keegan, Tobias, Elijah, Jamison, Jaxon, great-granddaughter Ella, and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Dobbling, Muehlenkamp-Erschell, with a Funeral Ceremony following at 12:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Taylor Mill in Kentucky.
