Newport, Kentucky – Shawn Michael Webster, a beloved son, brother, and father, was born on March 25, 1971, in Covington, Kentucky. After a valiant battle with cardiomyopathy, Shawn peacefully passed away on July 29, 2025, in Edgewood, Kentucky. His warmth, creativity, and deep affection for his family and friends will be cherished by all who knew him.

Shawn found boundless joy in being a dedicated father to his daughter, Zoe M. Webster, viewing parenthood as one of his most cherished roles. An outdoors enthusiast, he sought solace in fishing, camping, and hiking, particularly at The Gorge, where nature offered him tranquility and serenity.

An artist by nature, Shawn poured his heart and soul into meticulously crafting miniatures and dioramas, revealing his creative spirit and meticulous attention to detail. He found solace in creating art. A devoted supporter of UK sports, Shawn’s lively spirit shone through during game days and celebratory gatherings.

The son of Michael (Karen) Webster and Theresa Perry (nee Baker), Shawn is also survived by siblings, Renee L. Young, TJ (Becky) Quigley, Josh (Emily) Quigley, and Ryan Quigley, as well as his grandfather, James Rasbach. His memory will be carried on by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends, all of whom will miss his presence immensely.

A visitation is scheduled for August 1, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northern Kentucky. Shawn will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park at 2:00 PM, in a final tribute to his life and legacy.
