Sacred Heart Academy begins expansion and modernization project funded by donations

Sacred Heart Academy began construction on a new 35,000-square-foot addition and renovation project last week, according to an April 29 press release from the school.

The initiative is part of Sacred Heart’s $30 million “Sacred Heart Forever” campaign and is supported by donations. The expansion will include new facilities such as a dining hall, outdoor patio, student-run coffee shop and cafe, a redesigned entrance with a grand hallway, conference center, and a Student Life Empowerment Hub featuring collaboration spaces and offices.

“These state-of-the-art facilities will better serve students, faculty, and families by enhancing daily learning experiences, strengthening collaboration, and deepening the connections at the heart of SHA sisterhood,” Sacred Heart president Dr. Karen McNay announced during the ceremony.
