Haley Richards and Olivia Scroggie of the University of Louisville were named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Lacrosse Third Team, according to an announcement from the league office on Apr. 21.
The recognition highlights their standout performances during the season and marks a return for Louisville players to all-conference honors after a two-year gap.
Richards, from Moraga, California, leads Division I in total saves with 179 and averages 11.93 saves per game. Her .499 save percentage is the highest among ACC goalies and ranks seventh nationally. In her first year as a starter, Richards recorded six games with double-digit saves against conference opponents, including setting a program record with 19 saves against Florida State.
Scroggie specializes in draw controls and completed her sophomore season with 105 draws won, making her only the fourth player in program history to surpass 100 draw controls in one season. She averaged seven draw controls per game—fifth best in the ACC—and posted a career-high performance of 13 draw controls against top-ranked North Carolina.
All-ACC honors are determined by votes from the league’s thirteen head coaches. Richards and Scroggie are the first Louisville players since Nicole Perroni (First Team) and Kokoro Nakazawa (Second Team) received all-conference recognition in 2024.
