Northern Kentucky University Norse women’s golf team finished third at the 2026 Horizon League Championships, according to an April 27 announcement. The tournament took place over three days from Saturday to Monday.

The team’s consistent performance resulted in scores of 315, 316, and 315 for a total of 946, placing them just one stroke behind second place. This result ties Northern Kentucky’s second-best finish at the Horizon League Championships and is their best since the 2017 season.

Eva Maley led after the first round with a score of one under par, making her the only player in the event to record a single round under par. She posted a score of 72 on the par-73 course. Cammy Reed also had strong rounds throughout and finished alone in third place overall with an eleven-over tournament score, just one stroke away from tying for first. Kenna Jenkinson recorded Northern Kentucky’s best individual score on the final day with a three-over-par round of 76.

As a team, Northern Kentucky excelled on par-five holes and had fewer bogeys than any other team in the field. Their total team score was their second-lowest ever at this championship event.
