Central Kentucky’s Catholic community will host a variety of events this May including prayer services, retreats, social gatherings and support groups across several parishes. The Archdiocese continues its focus on spiritual growth and outreach initiatives throughout the region.

Bellarmine University plans to award more than eight hundred degrees during its upcoming commencement on May 9. The event features speakers Dr. Aaron Thompson and Rachel Greenberg who will both receive honorary degrees. The university is celebrating its seventy-fifth anniversary this year.

AKFA Aluminum Solutions has started building its first U.S. plant in Bowling Green after being welcomed by Gov. Andy Beshear on May 7. The facility will create over 300 jobs while boosting Kentucky’s reputation for attracting international manufacturers.
