Job Description:
We are looking for Tax Preparers to join our team! Conlee & Conlee Financial is seeking multiple full and part-time accounting positions. The ideal applicant will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in most aspects of small business accounting functions, however, industry training and industry experience can be a substitute if applicable and approved.
Responsibilities:
Informing clients or employers about the tax preparation process
Collecting relevant financial records, including pay stubs and income statements
Inputting data from financial records into tax return software or databases
Using applicable federal, state, and local tax law to determine deductions and how much each client will pay or earn on the return
Completing and filing tax documents with appropriate agencies, like the IRS, state and local government entities
Acting as a representative for clients with applicable agencies as required
Building customer relationships to promote and expand the business
Qualifications:
Tax preparer Qualificatioin
Ideally 3 years of experience
Proficient Experience with Lacerte by Intuit
Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
Detail and deadline-oriented
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

$20/hour starting pay 40/hour work week
