Murray State women’s golf will participate in the NCAA Tournament from May 11 to May 13 at the University of Louisville Golf Club in Simpsonville, Kentucky, according to an April 29 announcement. The team earned its sixth appearance in the tournament after a comeback victory that secured their first Missouri Valley Conference title.

The significance of this event lies in Murray State’s return to national competition for the first time since 2019. Their qualification follows a notable performance where they overcame a deficit of twelve strokes.

The field for the Simpsonville Regional includes teams such as Arkansas, Auburn, Iowa State, Ole Miss, Houston, Virginia Tech, Kansas State, Indiana, College of Charleston, Xavier, Western Kentucky and Murray State. This lineup places Murray State among strong collegiate programs vying for advancement.
