The Meade County Fiscal Court announced on Apr. 16 that it is accepting sealed bids for the annual supply of fuel needed by the Meade County Road Department for the 2026–2027 fiscal year.

This bidding process is important because it determines which vendor will provide essential fuel types—unleaded gasoline, on-road diesel, off-road diesel, and diesel exhaust fluid—for county road operations in the coming year.

Vendors interested in submitting a bid must send their sealed proposals to the Meade County Judge/Executive’s Office at 516 Hillcrest Drive, Suite 12, Brandenburg, Kentucky. All bids must be received by 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on Thursday, May 7, 2026. Late submissions will not be considered.

Bidders are required to specify pricing per gallon for each type of fuel and disclose any delivery fees or surcharges. They should also clarify whether their proposed prices are fixed or subject to market changes.

The Meade County Fiscal Court said it reserves the right to reject any or all bids and will select the bid that best serves county interests. For further information or questions about submission requirements, vendors can contact the Judge/Executive’s Office at (270) 422-3967.

This notice officially invites qualified vendors to participate in a competitive process that ensures reliable and cost-effective fuel supply for local government needs.
