The University of Louisville announced on Apr. 23 that the opening game of its softball series against Syracuse has been rescheduled to start at 4 p.m. Eastern Time on Friday, April 24, because of expected inclement weather in the evening. The remaining games in the three-game series will proceed as originally planned.

The schedule adjustment aims to ensure player safety and minimize potential disruptions caused by adverse weather conditions. Saturday’s game is set for a 1 p.m. start, while Sunday’s matchup will begin at noon.

According to the university, only Friday’s game time has changed; no other alterations have been made to the weekend schedule.
