The University of Louisville baseball team will finish its five-game homestand with a matchup against Indiana, scheduled for Tuesday, April 28. The game is set to begin at 6 p.m. Eastern Time and will be televised on ACC Network Extra, with radio coverage available on 93.9 The Ville.

This game comes after Louisville completed its first conference sweep of the season by winning all three games against Clemson over the weekend. During that series, Jimmy Nugent, Tague Davis, and Ben Slanker combined for seven home runs.

The Cardinals enter Tuesday’s contest riding a five-game winning streak and have averaged more than ten runs per game during this stretch. They have recorded 24 extra-base hits, including twelve home runs in those games.

Louisville and Indiana are meeting for the 56th time, with Indiana holding a slight edge in the all-time series at 29-26. However, Louisville has won the last two meetings held at Jim Patterson Stadium.

Among individual performances this season, Tague Davis has broken both the program’s freshman and single-season home run records by hitting his 26th homer in just forty-four games. He currently leads the nation in home runs and RBIs while ranking second nationally in slugging percentage and total bases. Lucas Moore also stands out as he leads the Atlantic Coast Conference with thirty stolen bases this season—bringing his career total to one hundred—and ranks eighth nationally in that category.

On defense, Louisville pitchers and catchers have limited opponents to just twenty-five successful steals out of fifty-one attempts this year. Their caught stealing rate of fifty-one percent ranks third nationally.
