Kenton County Public Library announces Big Covington Playdate event for families

The Kenton County Public Library announced on Apr. 27 that it will host the Big Covington Playdate on May 9 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at its Covington Branch, located at 502 Scott Blvd.

The event is designed to offer hands-on and sensory-friendly activities for young children, with support from various community partners who will provide additional interactive experiences. Attendees will receive a free book and a ‘play recipe’ kit to encourage continued learning and play at home.

The library promotes cultural engagement through genealogy resources, educational programs, and community events, according to the official website. It also features amenities such as a drive-thru window, free parking, business center, and accessible meeting spaces.
