Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky – James Bryant Norris, 62, of Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Covington, KY, on June 28, 1963, James was the cherished son of Troy Dobson and the late Bonnie Dobson. He had a long career as a painter in the construction industry, known for his strong work ethic and compassionate nature. James is survived by his loving wife, Danielle Bedford, his father Troy Dobson, his former spouse Brenda Norris, and ex-girlfriend Donna Hourshell. He is also survived by his children: Cryztopher, Christian, Connor, Joshua, James Jr., Daniel, Courtney, Cayla, Lexie, Lisa, Elizabeth, and Ashley; grandchildren and more on the way; brothers Christopher and Troy; nephews Jordan, Michael, and Cameron; nieces Sidney, Samantha, and Payton; aunt Opal Smith; close friend Timmy Cook; and numerous other relatives and friends. A Visitation and Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Serenity Funeral Care in Covington, Kentucky.
