Today we honor the life and legacy of a fallen hero.
Five years ago today, Officer Scotty Hamilton was shot and killed in the line of duty. Officer Hamilton died while protecting and serving the community he loved. His sacrifice will never be forgotten. Officer Hamilton was a husband, father, son, brother, and servant.
We continue to keep his family and friends in our hearts as we honor and remember our dedicated officer.

The average VA home loan amount in Kentucky during the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2025 was $306,690, according to the Veterans Affairs Home Loans Index.
Kentucky collected $221.2 million in insurance premiums sales taxes in 2024, an increase of 4.2% from the previous year.
There were 1,223 VA home purchases in Kentucky in the fourth quarter of the VA’s fiscal year 2025, totaling $390.6 million in loans, according to figures provided by the Veterans Affairs Home Loans Index.
