Villa Hills, Kentucky – Geraldine “Gerri” Green Miracle, a woman of grace, faith, and love, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2025, surrounded by her adoring family. Known for her unwavering faith, strength, and compassion, Gerri’s legacy of love and devotion will forever endure in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her.
A Beloved Life Partner, Mother, and Matriarch
During her 61-year marriage to her beloved husband John Edward Miracle, Gerri built a life full of unwavering commitment and faith. Their enduring love was a shining example, forging a foundation of love and devotion that inspired their children, grandchildren, and all who had the privilege of witnessing their bond.
To her daughters Jennifer Miracle Niemeyer and Amy Miracle Sleet, she embodied the essence of unconditional love and comfort. As “Nana Gerri” to her beloved grandchildren Alexandra, Benjamin, Abigail, Jack, and Luke, she was a beacon of warmth and joy. Gerri’s devotion to her family extended beyond words, as she attended every game, performance, and special event, creating treasured memories that will last a lifetime.
A Sensitively Nurtured Faith and Family Values
Born on June 2, 1943, in Paintsville, Kentucky, to Ova and Gladys Green, Gerri carried her family’s legacy of faith and love throughout her life. Her marriage to John, after their high school romance, set the stage for a beautiful family grounded in faith, love, and integrity.
Her career as a Home Economics teacher embodied her love for teaching life’s essential skills. At Beechwood High School, she went beyond teaching to support, uplift, and mentor students. Recognized numerous times for her exemplary teaching, Gerri truly made a profound impact on those she encountered.
A Remarkable Chapter in Life
Gerri’s boundless love and joy extended to her hobbies of cooking, sewing, and cross-stitching. Her artistic talent was evident in her paintings, and she found solace in the company of family, friends, and the countless students whose lives she touched.
A Woman of Strength and Grace
In recognition of her life’s work, the family invites contributions in her memory to the Beechwood Education Foundation for the establishment of the Gerri Miracle Scholarship at Beechwood High School and Lakeside Christian Church.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Lakeside Christian Church, with a service and Christian burial to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, extending the legacy of love and faith that Gerri embodied.
