Elsmere, KY – Frank DeWitt Serra, Sr., aged 90, of Elsmere, KY, passed away on August 24, 2025. Born on November 24, 1934, in Covington, KY, to Charles “Tony” Serra and Mary Hamm, Frank was married to Shirley Serra and preceded in death by his wife, parents, son Robert, brothers, and sisters.

He is survived by his children, Michael Serra, Frank Serra Jr., and Shannon Serra, along with 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Known for his active lifestyle, Frank enjoyed hunting, fishing, coaching baseball, and spending time outdoors. His love for country music, especially Hank Williams Sr. and Johnny Cash, added music to his daily life.

Frank’s vibrant personality, love of sports, and joy in music touched many lives. His family remembers him as a man full of energy, laughter, and determination.

Visitation will take place on September 2, 2025, at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger, KY, from 4:00–7:00 PM. A service celebrating Frank’s life will be held on September 3, 2025, at 11:00 AM, followed by burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger, KY.

In remembrance of Frank, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Cincinnati.
