Northern Kentucky University reported on Apr. 25 that its track and field teams participated in the Clark/Wood Invitational in Louisville, the final meet before the 2026 Horizon League Outdoor Championships. Several athletes from NKU posted personal bests, with Cameron Bittermann, Olivia Kennedy, Natnael Weldemichael, and Grace Biddle each earning top-five finishes.

The results highlight strong performances across both men’s and women’s events for the Norse. For the men, Natnael Weldemichael finished fourth overall in the 1500-meter run with a time of 3:48.56. Nathan Ruth set a new personal best in the same event at 3:51.19 to finish tenth. Bash Hedger recorded a personal best of 21.85 seconds in the 200-meter run, while Osayi Ogbebor set a new record of 14.79 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles to place fifteenth overall.

Camden Pawlick achieved personal best throws of 45.64 meters in discus and 39 meters in hammer throw; his discus result earned him ninth place overall. Brayden Holland also marked a season-best time of 1:53.83 in the men’s 800-meter run.

On the women’s side, Grace Biddle ran a career-best time of 4:31.98 in the women’s 1500 meters to secure second place overall after shaving five seconds off her previous record. Maddie Neary cleared a height of 1.63 meters for her division’s top high jump performance and set her own personal best.

Other notable performances included Sierra Kendall finishing sixth with a time of 1:00.52 in the women’s 400-meter hurdles and Cameron Bittermann placing fifth (23.62) and ninth (55.34) respectively in two sprint events—the women’s 200- and-400 meter runs—while Olivia Kennedy led all Norse runners with her fastest-ever mark (2:11.58) for eighth place among competitors.

The meet served as preparation ahead of next week’s Horizon League Outdoor Championships.
