Four former members of the Kentucky Wildcats football team were selected in the 2026 National Football League Draft, according to an announcement on Apr. 25.
The selections highlight the ongoing presence of Kentucky Wildcats alumni in professional football and mark a significant achievement for both the players and the university’s program.
Jalen Farmer, an offensive lineman, was picked by the Indianapolis Colts as the 113th overall selection in round four. In round five, Jager Burton, also an offensive lineman, was chosen by the Green Bay Packers with pick number 153. Later in that same round, wide receiver Kendrick Law was drafted by the Detroit Lions at pick number 168. The Colts made another selection from Kentucky with running back Seth McGowan being chosen as pick number 237 in round seven.
These draft results reflect continued interest from NFL teams in recruiting talent developed at Kentucky. The players will now have opportunities to compete for roster spots and contribute to their new teams during training camps and preseason activities.
