FDA ranks Kentucky veterinary companies third for inspections conducted in 2025

Kentucky saw 11 veterinary companies undergo FDA inspections during 2025, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

These inspections represented the third highest count by company type in Kentucky, accounting for 7.9% of all FDA inspections conducted in the state that year.

Among veterinary firms in Kentucky, T&H Feed Service, Inc. received the greatest number of FDA citations in 2025.

The FDA routinely inspects facilities across the nation to determine if the workplace and their products are compliant with FDA-regulated laws and regulations implemented to improve overall public health. Inspection results are then disclosed publicly.

According to its website, the FDA is a government agency that is primarily responsible for monitoring the production and distribution of human and animal drugs, biological products, medical supplies and tobacco products for safety and quality.
