Eastern Kentucky University athletics announced on April 24 that Adam Cohen will not return as head coach of the men’s and women’s tennis programs for the 2026-27 season.
The announcement marks a significant transition for both teams, as Cohen has led the programs for four seasons. During his tenure, he compiled an overall record of 78 wins and 132 losses.
Director of Athletics Kyle Moats said, “We thank Adam for his dedication to our student-athletes and Eastern Kentucky University over the past four seasons. We wish Adam and his family nothing but the best going forward.”
University officials stated that a national search to identify a new head coach will begin immediately.
This leadership change comes as Eastern Kentucky looks to build upon its tennis program’s foundation in future seasons.
