Covington, Kentucky – Donna Kaye Strube, 86, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 4, 2025, at Rosedale Green in Covington, KY. She was born on March 27, 1939, in Anderson, Indiana, to Raymond Shipley and Agnes (Wainscott) Shipley. Donna had a diverse career, working as a cosmetologist, manager in the retail drug store industry, and later in banking and home loans. However, her true passion was music, which she shared with her children, making it an essential part of their lives. She studied vocal music as a young girl and performed at various events during her teen years. Donna is survived by her loving children Steven (Dean) Moss, Charisse (Kevin) Sommers, Mike (Teresa) Shirley, Carla Frye, and Lisa Meece. She is also survived by her grandchildren Miranda, Kevin, Camille, Brandon, Courtney, Arie, Emily, Rose, and Sam, along with 10 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Dave Strube, son Gregg Moss, and sister Judith McCarty. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Burlington, KY. A reception will follow from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Linnemann Event Center. Burial will be privately on Monday at Hopeful Lutheran Cemetery in Florence, KY. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association Regional Center in Covington, KY.
