Florence, Kentucky – Donald E. Stratton, age 67, of Florence, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, August 29, 2025. Born in Covington, Kentucky, on December 11, 1957, he was the son of M. Melvin and Ruby Stratton.

Remembered with love by his sisters June Sizelove, Peggy McComas, Dotty Hood, his brother Michael Stratton, family, and friends, Donald found joy in simple pleasures like Elvis, cheerleading, dancing, and Christmas magic. His enthusiasm for life shone through in his participation in the Special Olympics and his love for Batman and sweet treats. Donald treasured his time at Camp Northward and had a collection of stuffed animals, especially monkeys.

In honor of Donald, donations may be made to Special Olympics Kentucky.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 8, 2025, with visitation preceding the service at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions in Erlanger, Kentucky.
