City of Fort Wright announces dates for Spring Community Yard Sale in May 2026

The City of Fort Wright announced on May 8 that the Spring Community Yard Sale will take place on Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9, from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Residents are asked not to arrive before the official start time.

The yard sale is an annual event where residents can sell household items and connect with neighbors. The city said the event supports community engagement and offers an opportunity for residents to participate in local activities.

A list of participating addresses was provided for both days, including locations such as Beaumont Court, Cumberland Avenue, East Henry Clay Avenue, Lorup Avenue, Normandy Court, Park Road, Pickett Drive, Rivard Drive, Upland Avenue and West Crittenden Avenue. Additional locations are included on Saturday such as Fort Henry Drive, General Drive, Kyles Lane and Lake Street.

Fort Wright supports community services like passport assistance and transparent government operations,according to the official website. The city also features parks such as Battery Hooper Park with a Civil War museum and recreational facilities.According to the official website, Fort Wright promotes a welcoming suburban setting with access to urban opportunities and offers scenic hillside views of Cincinnati. The city is governed by an elected mayor and six council members.According to the official website, its police department maintains accreditation reflecting professional standards.

The announcement said the event is hosted proudly by the City of Fort Wright at its municipal offices located at 409 Kyles Lane.
