Independence – Christa Ann Cervantes, 60, of Independence, Kentucky, passed away at home on Thursday, September 4, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born in Colorado Springs on March 3, 1965, she is survived by her husband, Kenelly Cervantes, and children, Chantel, Jessie, Jennifer, and Jared, along with seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Joel Bean.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, with services following at 1 p.m. Inurnment will take place at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.

Christa Ann Cervantes will be remembered for her love of cooking with her grandkids, passion for horses, and her selfless, caring nature as a mother, wife, and friend.
