Bioblitz Challenge (Nature Walk around the Library)

Looking to enjoy some time outside  and learn more about our local biodiversity? Join us for this special  all-aged event to celebrate nature and the wonders found in our own  community. We will have a short book reading suitable for younger  attendees, followed by a walk around the gardens and wooded trails.

This program is done in participation with the 2022 Oldham County BioBlitz Challenge:

Join the Project on the iNaturalist app by going to: https://www.inaturalist.org/…/oldham-county-ky-bioblitz…
Then  use the iNaturalist app from August 20th- September 30th to take  pictures of plants and wildlife. Join in on one of these scheduled  nature walks or go out on your own.

Observations for the challenge will be tallied and shared with all who join the Project Team.
