Florence, Kentucky – Barbara Ann Beatty, 86, of Florence, Kentucky, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, just months following the loss of her cherished husband, Ragan. Born on April 2, 1939, in Poe, West Virginia, to William and Elsie Gray, Barbara was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother and great-grandmother. Together with Ragan, her beloved husband of 62 years, she cultivated a life rich in love, laughter, and shared experiences.

Barbara’s life was a testament to her unwavering commitment to family, faith, and friendship. Residing in Michigan before settling in Kentucky in 1968, Barbara supported Ragan through his military service and career, embodying warmth, nurturing care, and selflessness within their home.

An active member of Union Baptist Church in Union, Kentucky, Barbara exemplified her faith through service, kindness, and a gentle demeanor. She found immense pleasure in traveling with Ragan, creating precious memories exploring all 50 states and reveling in companionship during numerous cruises. For Barbara, happiness was found in the simplicities of life: playing cards, tending to her garden, sharing tales, and relishing moments with her expanding family.

Barbara is survived by her children: Pam Evans (George), Kim Coffey (Robert), and Greg Beatty (Rosanne); grandchildren: Natalie, Allison, Andrew, Aaron, Taylor, Jacob, Alicia, and Ethan; great-grandchildren: Logan, Samuel, and Cora; sisters: Doris Matthews, Kathy O’Dell (Bob); and brother, Mark Gray (Melissa), while being preceded in death by her sister, Jane Hanshaw.

Family and friends are warmly invited to honor Barbara’s life on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. at Union Baptist Church in Union, Kentucky. Barbara will rest beside Ragan at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, Kentucky.

In memory of Barbara, contributions may be directed to Union Baptist Church. Share condolences and memories at www.stithfuneralhome.com.
