Eastern Kentucky University men’s golf senior Anders Larson was named to the Second Team All-ASUN and earned a spot on the ASUN All-Academic Team, according to an April 28 announcement from the league office.

Larson’s recognition marks his second consecutive season being honored on both lists. He was selected for Second Team All-ASUN in 2026 after making Third Team in 2025, and he has received All-Academic accolades both years.

Larson, who is from Pine Island, Minnesota, finished his collegiate season at the ASUN Championship by tying for third overall with a score of 208 over three rounds. This performance also secured him a place on the ASUN All-Tournament Team. Over the fall and spring seasons, he led Eastern Kentucky with a scoring average of 71.3 across 32 rounds. He posted six top-10 finishes during this period, including five straight to close out the year, and won medalist honors once.

Some of Larson’s notable results include tying for ninth at the Bluegrass Collegiate on April 14 with a score of 218, finishing fourth at the Memphis Intercollegiate on March 31 with a score of even par (216), and earning medalist honors at the Seminole Intercollegiate on March 17 with a score of seven under par (209). He also tied for fourth at the Babygrande Donald Ross Collegiate on March 11 with a score of five under par (211) and began his season by tying for fifth at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational on September 9 with another seven under par (206).

Off the course, Larson maintained academic excellence as well. For two consecutive years he has been recognized as part of the ASUN All-Academic Team while holding a grade point average of 3.82 as he pursues his degree in sports management.

Larson’s achievements reflect consistent performance both athletically and academically throughout his college career.
